Types of Preceptorships Offered & Fees Standard Preceptorship: 3 days of training and programmed instruction This is our most popular preceptorship and perfect for both new practitioners and practitioners with experience who wish to take their skills to a higher level. This includes the CD programmed learning set and the instructional DVDs. There are then three full days of patient evaluation, procedure observation, and practice at simulator workstations. FEE: $3500*
Second Practitioner (physician, PA, RN) from the same office at the same preceptorship: Practitioners that will be also be doing sclerotherapy may accompany the primary physician. They will receive the same training as the primary physicians, but will not receive separate educational CDs and DVDs. FEE: $2625 per person Nurses who assist practitioners: RNs and LPNs who will be assisting practitioners will be given special instruction in preparation and assisting in various procedures. FEE: $1500 per person
Medical Assistants FEE: $500 per person Custom Advanced PreceptorshipsOnce a preceptor has attended a Basic Preceptorship and/or has demonstrated experience and skill in phlebology, customized preceptorships can be developed to meet specific needs. These usually focus on advanced Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy, ambulatory phlebectomy with intraoperative ultrasound guided sclerotherapy and EVLT. By invitation only. Please call for details.
